Scratch and Dent & Tyre and Alloy Wheel Insurance

I am getting a Dynamic Red GT and looking for Scratch and Dent and Alloy Wheel Insurance. Any recommendations for companies that cover the Cyberster? I used ALA for my last car but they would not offer the Scratch and Dent policy as I had a pearlescent paint (Daytona Gray).

I have policies with Total Loss GAP for GAP, Scratch and Dent and Alloy wheel. They did not come back with any question about the paint colour or type. I hope therefore that they can do all paint types. I have not made a claim yet, so I can’t comment on how effective they are.

I would have usually used ALA, but their prices were way higher this time.

Is that really such a thing, alloy wheel insurance. Believe me I'm no fan of insurance companies. But what if your a dozy git and are forever kerbing your alloys. It'd cost them a fortune.

There is a limit on the number of repairs you can claim in any year. More claim availability = higher premium. This is the first time I have ever taken out alloy wheel insurance, but as I usually dink wheel in the first few months of ownership and then have to live with it, I thought I’d give it a go.
