Self parking in home garage?

I have an IM5 LR on order for delivery in early March and was just wondering if anyone knows if the self park function works in home garages?

No idea. I guess if it can detect it as a parking slot it could?
I remember reading another post that it detected a driveway.
It can't do mine since it is quite long.

Not certain, but mine will see the driveway as a parking place and if I drive out of the drive I could use auto reverse to go back in. That said I have stopped it every time I tried it as there are brick pillars either side of the drive entrance and only about 4 inches spare on either side! Self drive if far too fast for me to trust it………...

It took me time to trust auto reverse but for me it’s working well avoiding the pots and posts in my drive. But I don’t trust it in heavy rain!

Mmm, self parking in a car park is one thing. But self parking in a tight driveway is another. Not sure if I'd trust it not to self park, in me front room.

I actually tried it yesterday but it kept asking me move forward/backwards and in the end I gave up and reversed in manually by which time it had woken up and asked if I wanted to self-park, but I had almost finished. I too have a narrow drive between two brick piers (around 18" each side I guess), and was almost pleased I had to do it myself. If I'm honest I don't use much of the tech but am grateful to the rear-wheel steering which makes access to the drive a whole lot easier

Narrow ?, I wish I had 18 inches either side of my drive, I have less than 6 inches each side.

Self drive if far too fast for me to trust it………...

Noticed this on my test drive, it absolutely ****s its way into a space. I probably won't use it for this reason.
