It was just you said a perrys service plan that confused me thats all..
Appreciate that, I had to call them and get it confirmed. The quote they gave me was for their service plan but as an MG dealer their plan covers everything the MG one does. It would also get digitally updated on the online service history 👍

We got our first ever EV an M4 x power in 2024 and after doing some research set up a 3 year service plan on it with a local dealer, for me the ability to lock in the cost of servicing for the period, maintain the 7 year warranty and have the benefit of AA breakdown cover for free were big factors.

Xpoerhad its first service in March last year, would have been due second next month but this January bought a new S6 and transferred the service plan over to that with a £255 credit from the old plan, new 3 year plan works out at £7 a month.

Well pleased.
That is what's commonly known as a result 🍻

I think so, was not intending to change the xpower but health reasons dictated the need for an SUV. Having worked out what I’d paid on the previous plan MG gave me a complete transfer of unused funds, no deductions. If I’d wanted to take the money for whatever reason they would have charged a £30 admin fee which I think is fair enough.

The latest update is that Perrys have discounted their 5y service plan and it's now only £50 more expensive than the one on the MG portal. Apparently the only thing that's different between them, confirmed by Perrys, is that their one includes an aircon freshener every service, where they treat the system to kill any bacteria. It works out at just £10 a year different so sounds like a no brainer to me. They said they'd also repair any 'repairable' puncture for free as well, which they couldn't confirm was part of the MG plan...
