Why does my MG4 display “Sport” in the small screen and then in the large screen several seconds later it reverts to snow? whilst still maintaining sport characteristics?

That reminds me - another thing for me to check with 1100R33 whether this bug is fixed.

PS - on mine it would remain as Sport in the driver screen but switch to Snow in the Infotainment screen.

I did a test today ... selected Sport mode for driving, drove for a while, flicked between various screens, then went back to the Drive Mode screen and it still showed Sport. So it looks like 1100R33 fixes this foible for the SE.

It’s a display only glitch. It’s actually in Sport mode still.
Your MG4 likely needs several software module updates as the bug was fixed a long time ago.
In particular your car will definitely benefit from the latest service campaign to update the lane keep assist (amongst many other things)

@pidge010 your profile shows your car as an MG4 Standard ... are you actually in the UK as per your Location? If yes then I assume you have the MG4 SE SR, in which case everything @fnegroni said is correct. (If you're not in the UK then the advice may differ).

Thank you for the post, and yes the lane assist sucks! and glitches galore, apart from that brilliant car, thats after owning a BMW i3.
