TBOX Activation?

I see it’s already on P but the Telematic box log is greyed out and I’m getting GPS signal etc
I had to reactivate mine again today (the weather app wasn't responding) and it took me three attempts to activate it. The first time it said something about not having permissions, the second time it said something about the dealer and the third time it worked.
Why deactivates itself every so often is a mystery to me. 🤔
 
An update and a plea for more help. The T-box is replaced, the updates all installed and 2nd year service done but the car still refuses to communicate with the app. It does not update the clock and it isn't showing an emergency calls unavailable error message anymore. I suspect the MG servers may need to recognise the new t-box... I tried unbinding and rebinding the car to the app and uninstalling and reinstalling the app and unbinding and rebinding. the binds seem to happen but still it thinks the last time it located the car was 11th January. Any suggestions? All else fails I'll email MG Europe and phone BSM (now branded vertu) and politely demand to speak to the technician(s).

I have had that problem for nearly 6 months on my zs ev. It has now sat at the dealer for 9 weeks but they can't seem to fix it

I did get something back from MG and the dealership did fix the issue in the end - don't ask what the fix was though as it went over my head! Just contact MG through the app and simultaneously insist the dealership earn their badge! I have a second MG4 SE SR now (3 in family) and have started using a different dealer for number 2! It's an amazing but cheap and cheerful car! Lots of little faults but never failed to go from A to B!
