Well for anyone who has seen my other post about the trials and tribulations I've gone through waiting for my car to be delivered, we'll the wait is finally over.

It was delivered yesterday

I drove it a handful of miles last night and to work this morning, but first impressions are very positive and although I've not pushed it (yet), the power delivery is insane.

I drive down a small lane littered with speed bumps and I'm surprised how well it handles them.

I've still yet to bind the car, but I have managed to activate the navigation and link the bluetooth.

Only niggle so far is having to turn off the speed warning alert when I get in. The HVAC seems OK, had it on 20 degrees this morning, and I'm assuming the SC077 update has been done, as minimal bongs or nudges from the LKA.

It does seem very weird having no start button and a little unsettling when exiting the car and everything remains powered on until I lock the door.

Range doesn't look all that great either, showing 49% battery and 99miles when I got to work. Car is still not showing as being registered on the government website, so I currently can't swap over to octopus intelligent go tariff

One bonus is that i did get a charging cable with the car.

Can't wait to see what it can really do when let loose.

It's been a long wait @Panther, don't they look great when they're new. :) (y)
The guy who delivered it commented on the colour and said everyone in the dealership had been talking about it, he said most of the one's he has delivered and white or black.

I knew before delivery that MG had made a few changes, and I think in some ways they are for the better, the lower front bumper is matt black and not gloss, and the silver accents on the side are like a black carbon effect on the front.

Hopefully the weather will be good this weekend and I can get the dashcam and ambient lighting fitted :)

That seems pretty good for an XPower, my Trophy is showing 192 miles at 92% after last nights charge.

Made an 80km (50miles) drive in my Xpower this morning, exactly 20% consumed.
😂 As every other thing is better in Cyprus the one I will give you is the weather is better.
Totally irrelevant what you get to UK owners, but as always its better.
Try driving on cold wet, windy UK roads and see what you get

(Trying hard @tsedge and @MG Clive I'm doing my coping exercises but god it's hard😁)

That's actually how they show it on the website now, and they've also removed the list of features and spec from the website as well, so obviously that's subject to change for the model runout.

So far so good, have yet to take it on a long run, but at the moment pretty happy with it.

Positives:
Performance is like nothing I've ever experienced before and is very addictive
No sign of the 'vibes' that I've noticed.
Economy is better than expected, had the wipers, headlights, AC on this morning and 6 miles on normal roads, 7 miles on the motorway at mostly 70 (might have been a bit more 😉) and still got 3.2m/kW
Pre-heated the cabin this morning and nice to just get in and go.

Cons:
Having to turn the 'overspeed' warning off every time I get in, but I guess most new cars are the same nowadays.
Speed sign recognition is not the best, was flashing '30' whilst I was driving up the M5
Occasionally I get in and it's like the radio has paused, hit the play button and its back on

Managed to get my Octopus Intelligent Go sorted, charged to 100% but was only showing a range of 201miles in Normal mode

Glad you are enjoying you car, that range seems about normal for this time of year
