Welcome to the MG clubDid I speak too soon?
Had my first software glitch yesterday, I think it was because I didn't let the infotainment boot up fully and put it into reverse as it was halfway through it's boot sequence.
Next thing I know the radio was on volume 6 and would not move and when i was in stop start traffic as soon as my speed dropped below 10mph the rear view camera came on and then when over 10 it went to the home screen. and it did this repeatedly
I tried holding the home button down to reboot the system but that did nothing, eventually once I left the motorway I pulled over, got out, locked the car, unlocked the car and all back to normal.
Jumped in this morning and it was all fine.
Oh the joy of MG ownership
@MG Clive I also turned the overspeed threshold off through the menu in the drivers display but it still continued to 'bong' over 30mph until I turned the overspeed warning off in the MG pilot menu. I haven't tried increasing the threshold yet to see if that helps.

Welcome to software based driving. Could be worse...Had my first software glitch yesterday, I think it was because I didn't let the infotainment boot up fully and put it into reverse as it was halfway through its boot sequence.
You can just press volume on the steering wheel too and it will come off pauseOccasionally I get in and it's like the radio has paused, hit the play button and its back on
