This is hilarious

He has hit the nail on the head. People who have never owned an EV have really no idea how good they are compared to an ICE car. Servicing and running costs are much cheaper BUT also it is a lovely driving experience. I actually prefer to drive the MG5 than my Lexus NX300h!

I really can't see me going back to an ICE vehicle.

He's quite the raconteur and has become a social media sensation, allegedly prompted by his children (but perhaps also with the help of his massive marketing company).

His stuff is very good.

He was on the Cleaning Up podcast, which I was a bit disappointed with because he didn't seem to get one of the ethical issues and rehashed some denialist talking points at some point. He does seem to like EVs, though, and he has creative ways of looking at (hence manipulating) human behaviour.

I've seen quite a lot of his 'shorts' on Youtube, they are very good.

He missed out the bit about having to drill into the earth at various places, including under the sea so you can get to the raw materials to make the fuel that has to be refined in certain locations. Making us reliant on specific countries or oil barons to run the vehicle. Rather than generating the fuel yourself from panels on your roof or a windmill in your garden.

Maybe in your garden if you are Scottish! Hardly any on land down in England.

Might change at some point now that they are unbanned.

My garden certainly wouldn't be big enough and the neighbours might be upset as well!

People with a lot of land have them, but you need such a high mounting that they're not really practical for normal gardens. (@QLeo has one.)

Im guessing they work well judging by my experience with my power bank and panels.
Mounted on my fence, propped up on my lawn and beside the Berlingo I was getting good results during the better weather earlier in the year.
