I tested it again today. Park does nothing. Lifting the rear end does nothing. Opening the door does not reset anything. I took a walk around the car and got back in: nothing changed. Locking the door did: It defaulted.

In the pull-down menu it is described as LDP On

I think it may only switch back on again once you put your hoof on the pedal.
