As the title.

When I bought the car it was 100% charged with 289 miles on the clock Trophy 64KWh.
Of course I know that driving habits change this figure drastically but now in Winter I'm sure I'm getting way below what I should be getting - 100% charge with 195 miles.
Of course the heating goes on and many times before we get in the car and then the heated steering wheel goes on but very rarely the seats.
It just seems that when I read about other EV owners, not just MG4, that they drop around 40 miles and not the 90 I'm getting.
At the last service in September the mechanic said the battery is in excellent condition, as good as the day it was new.

Any tips what we might be doing wrong?

Don't think your doing owt wrong. It's just winter simple's, there's so many different variables to what range you will get.
For example in Summer my X Power when charged to 100% showed about 250
miles. Now in winter it shows about 170 miles, on a 100% charge. It's just the way it is. 🙂👍

If you look back in the forum for the past 3 winters your range is bang on average that everyone has been getting, there is nothing wrong with your car, most EVs can lose 20-30% in the winter

Doesn't sound too bad really.

You'll lose a bit of range over time through battery degradation, but this is what you would expect for a new one.

The car was never going to achieve 289 miles as it claimed unless you drove constantly at 30mph.

My basic advice would be to ignore the GOM. Unless reset (see earlier post) its calculation is based upon recent usage. Whether you have thrashed your MG4 = low figure, or driven gently at 30mph = a higher figure, you will achieve what you achieve on your current drive. Let experience teach you what to expect, based upon the seasons, weather, heating, number of passengers, your intended style during the drive, etc.

Yep, 160 miles winter range is commonplace for me. Mind you keeping up with people on the M11 is quite a battery killer at times 😇

In another thread I mentioned my first ever Range Anxiety problem.
I had 60 miles to get home and around 78 on the display but I'd been watching it slowly get shorter and no way would I have enough.
I thought what would I do in my ICE car so I dropped to Cruise Control at 60mph and when I got home there was now 35 miles on the display.
