Usb Device Not Compatible?

Hey guys - what format is needed to play music via usb pen drives?

I connected a fat32 formatted and added folders with mp3... And then the car said not compatible.

Any ideas how to make usb drives work so i can play music without bluetooth?

There's a problem with which port you use, it's only the ones at the front that work, the others are charge only. I'm using a 62GB fat32 with no problems.

Yes im using the front.
I used another pen drive and it worked.

Question: is it safe to leave it plugged or should i unplug it everytime i leave the car?

You can leave it plugged in.
