They should still light up. I have the most recent versions / updates on mine now and the car port lights light up blue, grey and green.

Actually I think I found what the issue was. I hadn't touched the car in a few days and then I unlocked it with my phone to charge it and the port lights didn't work. The following day I unlocked it with the key and the lights turned on blue immediately.

Maybe unlocking via the phone doesn't wake as many systems as using the key. Either that or the issue resolved itself overnight!
