No Clive, as above they state it isn't a tool that is supplied with the vehicle, I have long nosed pliers that will suffice.

More like damage the wheel, there isn't much of a gap between the cap and the wheel.Pliers might damage the caps as well

It should be in a cutout in the foam block that holds the puncture repair kit, If it is not there and the dealer won't supply one contact MGUK. Last resort, you can get one for about £2.50 off the internet. Better than using pliers which will damage the cap and possibly the wheel, as others have saisCalled at the dealership this morning and they are in agreement that so soon they shouldn't be looking like that so the manager said they will be replaced under warranty. As regard the removal tool they state MG don't supply this with the vehicle, I wasn't in the mood to argue with them as they did at least look in ALL the cars in the showroom and couldn't find one. I'm happy to get the covers and emblems replaced so not going to push it about the tool.
Yes, I will purchase one off amazon/ebay, but when I go back to have the replacements fitted I will pursue the issue. In the meantime I will contact MG just out of curiosity to confirm if one should have been with the car before I go investigating. It would appear that what is supplied with one model of vehicle isn't necessarily supplied with a different model, why am I not surprised. If other hs phev 2025 trophy owners can confirm it they got one with the vehicle would be appreciated, better to be forewarned!!!!.
I agree, but I suppose the rationale for not having one would be that, if the customer doesn't have a spare wheel, or a wheel brace, or a jack, they don't need a tool to remove the wheel nut caps, because they can't remove the wheel anyway.Despite what dealer says, and obviously that's all you can go off. There definitely should be one with the car.![]()
