Wheel/rim Specification

I just bough a set of Audi A4 rims with winter tyres. I thought it would look awkward, but I am quite happy with the result.

Hello!

Have anyone tried to put on 215/55/R17 tyres on the standard rims? This size is much more common in our country than the original "/50/". I know that the "X Power" or "Trophy" trim comes with "55"-height tyres, but what about "ordinary" SR or LR ???

The Xpower comes with 235/45/18 tyres ? The 17" wheels come with 215/50/17 tyres.

Above is link to a good site for checking the effect of changes to wheel and tyre sizes

Hi
I know this is an old post but can I change my mg5 trophy from 17 inch wheels to the 16 inch wheels that the old shape mg5 has ?
Thanks

Just read that a lot of the reviews saying old shape was smoother due to the 16 inch wheels . But I want to buy a spare wheel to get me home and lots for sale but all 16 inch space saver wheels . Will buy one if I know it fits .

Probably, but Why? ?

Might be better asking on the MG5 forum instead of the MG4 one ?

PCD:5x112
Diameter:18″
Width:8″
Offset:45
Central bore:57.1

would this spec alloy fit or is the offset not correct?
Hey, I have the same question as you about wheel size and particularly offset. Did you ever find an answer to this?
Many thanks
