Worst car I've ever had

3-phase AC charger points are not so common in the UK ... certainly not in the domestic (home) setting, as most properties are fed by a single phase supply so 7kW wall boxes are generally fitted. 3-phase AC charge points may be more prevalent in places like supermarkets or work places.
OK and MG4 Trophy and XPower do not have a 3 phase 11kW charger with you.

The early (phase 1) Trophies had the 3 phase 11kW capability. There is a thread from November
2022 showing a car charging at ~10kW. See below:

And another much the sameView attachment 13168
Yep, with a proper 3 phase cable it's 11kw, and I believe it's here to stay and not just the early ones.
There was much comment that is was just the first few, it seems to have stayed and be present on more recent ones without the driver drowsy camera.

My March 2023 SE LR (Dec22 manufactured) absolutely charges at 10a on a 22kw charger.

Not in the home setting no. But in public it isn't that uncommon to find 11kW or in the case of Fountains Abbey where I was at the weekend 22kW

Based on what exactly? None of the 'faults' highlighted by the OP is EV-centric

Are you for real? What charging problems do diesel cars have?
except the Charging issue’….
Also please show me on instance of all lights in an non EV going out while driving.
🙄

Used to happen in my Ford Escort - the stalk to control the lights had a common fault with the contacts slowly wearing out or some such, and they would flicker or go out while driving. An easier fix back in those days though, of just replacing the whole stalk/harness piece that sits above the steering wheel.

I have to say though we have only done 700 miles since delivery of our Trophy LR we have had no faults. We were aware of the problems some owners have had but with the 7 years warranty we weren’t worried. Problems with new cars happen our firs new car was a 1973 ( yes I’m old ) had to have a new engine at 500 miles our next was a Vauxhall Chevette that wouldn’t start when cold, next came a Fiat you could watch it rust , in fact all our new cars cost money our last car was a BMW 220 after a month the battery failed covered by warranty but took 3 attempts to get the dealer to replace, then after 4 1/2 years the wiring loom failed at the back £500 cost at my local garage.
The point I make most cars have problems some more than others. You could jump out of the frying pan into the fire. Sort it out and the enjoy it .

*** just take it to your dealer with a list of the issues. It's probably a loose 12V battery terminal or a module on the car that needs updating or replacing maybe. Who knows? This sucks but can happen on any new car (or any hi Tech product). It probably hasn't been fully commissioned PDI checked by dealer. 200 miles this time of year isn't ridiculous tbh especially if fast motorway driving.
i get more than 200 miles. From Leicester to Cardiff it's 190 miles. I have 36% battery left. I drove most of this at 60 to 65mph in eco. My car has done over 27k and i bought it new from 2023 june. Love my car. I turn off lane assist as in all cars they suck ass.I turn off auto beam as it's not responsive enough . No issues with my car. We are going scotland doing the 500mile trip and will try a bit of car camping.

MG 4 150Kw Trophy EV Long Range 64kWh

Lights going out while I drive.(once on a country road,..f**** terrifying)
Strange random messages about SOS not working flash up and disappear.
Other messages appearing once ( including "System Fail") and unable to find them again. Again terrifying while on Motorway
Less than 200 mile range despite being "Long Range" .
Needing to complete a three stage routine to turn off lane change detection EVERY TIME I DRIVE!!
Trying to use a fast 22KW public charger only to find our the car can only charge at a pathetically slow 7KW
No easy button to turn radio on. have to "ask" via voice control and that takes 5-6 attempts on average.

So, hate my first (and last electric car) and hate this one even more than I could have imagine

Mine seemed a really nice car (new ER) but was totally let down by dealers who couldn’t or wouldn’t fix faults, didn’t communicate or have any sense of urgency, and MG UK who didn’t help.
With proper manufacturer and dealer support (ie what normal brands tend to provide) I would have no doubt enjoyed ownership and kept it for several years.
…traded it in after 4 months (and lost near 5k) but happy now, never to return.
Anyone who came from an ICE car and has a fault free one will love the 4, but I doubt anyone who has problems would consider buying another. Just my thoughts…

Looks like the last time the OP visited the site was the day after his post almost six months ago.

So if he ever logs in again he can look forward to catching up on the last 30 posts of this thread...
