I’m not sure but on most cars I’ve had the cars speedo is always a little below the gps speed reading

I thought that was iilegal - the speedo should always overread. On all my Fords when the speedo says 30 you're actually doing 27 - and that 3mph difference seems to hold throughout the speed range.

Here’s what i said earlier in this post.

i’m not explaining it very well am I! I’m saying the cars speedo reads typically above what the actual speed is - I’m assuming gps is more accurate. Generally cars that I’ve owned show speeds that are in fact slightly above the actual speed. E.g car shows 30mph - gps 29mph - roadside camera display 29mph. Time for a lie down ?

Now now folks now lets cool down as this started with top speed on the German auto-bans but please remember we are in the UK max speed ? Well sometimes on Motorways 70mph.

Speedos are for info only. I tell my speed by the looks I get from other drivers. If it is anger I speed up. If it’s fear I slow down. Passengers tend to let you know too.

I did 155kmph ~9 days back... it was on eco mode, didn't go above 155 and I didn't try sports mode, apparently, it goes to 175kmph in India on sports mode.

That's not bad, I've had cars 10% out at that speed showing about 63mph GPS when car shows 70.

The battery drains really fast over 70mph.
I found my one would do an indicated 90 quite easily, but I haven’t checked it against a satnav.
