Anyone had the rear disks and pads replaced? Who did you use and how much was it?

Cars been for its two year service and the dealer reckons the rear disks and pads are shot and want ~£500 to replace them!

Try a Bosch garage. They are normally local garages. Mine is great. I wouldn't trust Halfords on brake, nor do I think you need them replaced. Just remember you must use mg parts

Same here . Had my 3rd service yesterday and was told my rear discs and pads would need replacing soon for £487. They also said the windscreen wipers would require replacement soon for £89 🙀.
I'll be looking elsewhere.
Any recommendations please post 👍

That's basically exactly what I was quoted. They charged me £50 to put the rear washer jet tube back on properly, it had apparently come off slightly!

Another reason I avoid main dealers where ever I can. Lady was adamant it would be chargeable!
I suppose it depends on who you speak to . I had a warranty issue when one of my TPMs disintegrated on my Hyundai Ioniq . The front desk said I had to pay because I must have broken it .When I took it in to be fitted , the technician said it was a fault with the TPM stem and they refunded.
It may be best to query it with the dealer . After all how could you have damaged it?🤔

The rear discs and pads are nothing special for the ZS EV and can now be bought third party, for considerably less than what the dealer is asking.
However when the replacing them, the method used for disengaging the handbrake prior to replacing the old parts, has caught a few people out.
Including a few of the dealers in the early days.
The problem arises when after the discs and pads have been replaced, the electric handbrake fails to engage correctly.
Maybe a good idea to have a read through this thread.
