MG4 Mats Availability

Took a chance on a set of the all weather mats and have to say Im very pleased. They are good quality, dont have a nasty chemical smell. I like the fact they have the lip around to contain dirt and water. Also supplied with plugs for drivers side, photos attached but have left in packaging for storage as I dont have the car yet 😢

Also excellent service from the vendor, ordered 14.45 yesterday, arrived 09.45 today!

Good spotting Richmorr 👍

Awesome mate they do look good needs some pic once in the car.

I found these that looked decent

Thanks ... great find !!

Like CooperS, I bought some yesterday and they arrived at lunchtime today.

Here are the pics in an out. I'm very happy with the quality and fit - better than OEM 👍

They're going to be great over the Winter months.

The driver mat holes fit fine but you can't really lock them in place and they come with rubber grommets to cover the holes that need a bit of blue tack underneath to stick. However due to the good tight fit and 3D shape none of the mats move around at all anyway so you could do without the grommets if you wish.

I did'nt get the boot mats as I have lowered the floor to the bottom setting (by folding the magnetic side edges inwards) to get maximum depth in the boot. It makes it a bit fiddly at the seat end to get a mat to fit so will cut one of my old ones to shape.

For anyone getting the OEM MG mats here are some pics of these. IMHO they are not great quality and brushing them after only a week reveals they are quite rough - "nylony" and "hairy" rather than a nice thick short pile.

The drivers mat locks into place fine (you may have to twist the plastic hole round 90 degrees on the mat to align) but the spacing of the holes is fine on my car. The fit of the mats is reasonable but could be better and not as good as the Rubber ones in my post above.

The passenger mat has two velcro stickers on the back which hold in place by sticking to the carpet.

Think I’ll be getting some perfect for winter

These look rather good. I was suckered into taking the MG mats when I bought the car, and they look quite nice, but I'm concerned about winter wear. I noticed that I still have the generic rectangular rubber mats I bought for Miranda in 1985 lying in my garage and I was thinking about using them on top of the MG mats in the winter. But I might splash out on these.

https://amzn.eu/d/c4jsXDc I’ve been looking for some rubber mats similar to the ones I had with my previous Golf GTE, and these are the closest I could find for my incoming Xpower. I wanted ones with a lip around the edge as they were really easy to clean last time. AUTO-STYLE Rubber car mats set compatible with MG 4 (EV) 2022- (4-pieces + fixing system)

Is my Trophy LR ( week old ) a phase 2? I've been looking for front mats but some say they fit and some don't... I only need fronts as the back will probably never see a human..

Just ordered these £13 on Amazon.. bargain lol

Mine are OK, but I still ordered a set of the rubber/plastic ones for the winter. Carpet mats are nice, but not all that practical when you're dragging mud, leaves, snow, wee stones and general crap into the car.
