When you say it was showing low on the right rear tyre, what was the pressure?
How far had you been driving with that warning?
What was the pressure according to the gauge at the petrol station?
What was the pressure of all the other tyres?

I think the manual should explain how the pressure warning works better and give guidance in respect to how to set the correct tyre pressure.

I see drivers simply inflating their tyres, when in actual fact it could be the result of a malfunctioning sensor, a slow leak, temperature fluctuation due to car being parked half in the sunshine, half in the shade while inflating the tyres, etc...
I put the front ones 33 and the rear 35 and before it was fine, no problem. It started showing the low tyre pressure just this morning, but the temperature was 4°. I stopped at the next petrol station and check the tires and they were perfectly fine. I think it’s due to the weather

I had the exact same issue this morning (right rear MG4 Trophy). The car was showing a pressure of 2.3 - same as all other tyres, but with the right rear highlighted. Eventually cleared itself after about 5 miles of driving.
Ah right even I kept on driving when I checked the tires and they were fine, but it was still saying pressure low. They have been the same pressure as they’ve always been.

So they were always low. Just even lower than usual and this time just beyond the threshold.

Set them all to 2.5bar or 36/37 psi when they are cold and you’ll have the tyres at the correct pressure

And they’ve always been at the wrong pressure, they simply weren’t passed the lower threshold just yet

I've merged this thread in with an earlier one on the same issue so we don't have to keep typing the same advice. Worth a read down the whole thing if you have the problem.

My car hasn't done it again since I brought all the tyres up to 2.5 bar (just with a foot pump) and it was pretty chilly here yesterday morning so I think it's all fine now.

It’s on the door pillar - 2.6bar from memory, 2.7 on the rears. Maybe run them at 2.7 for the winter as the cold air affects pressure (lowers it)

It's 2.5 bar all round as per the manual and inside the drivers door shut although some of us find 2.6 bar suits us better.

I started getting low pressure warnings when the weather turned colder, but I brought all the tyres up to 2.5 cold just with a foot pump and I've had no trouble since.

37 psi = 2.55 bar ... that is the recommended pressure all round for normal use. 41 psi = 2.83 bar in the rears when fully loaded (from memory).

I prefer 2.4 bar when cold. More grip on cold tarmac and when up to temperature they run between 2.5 and 2.6 which is grippy and efficient.m
I did top them up to 2.4 when the temperatures changed drastically the last couple days.
Never a warning, no issue with grip (within reason: the stock conti are supposed to be low rolling resistance tyres they will by definition provide less traction off the line and especially when cold. I do think all season tyres are a better choice from say November till end of February in the UK)

I have the low tyre pressure come on at 2.4 bar, How does one reset the warning light?

After experimenting with tyre pressure warnings, it comes on at 2.35 bar. The will stil be showing 2.4, but really the tyres should be inflated at that point to a minimum of 2.4 bar.
