See my 1100R33 thread.
Apologies I own an MG4 and put in the wrong model when creating my profile. Will work out how to update it!As this is a thread about the MG4, in the MG4 board, I feel owners of other models need to be clear if they also own an MG4 and are talking about that. Taken in isolation, @Able25's post doesn't make sense as their profile shows a ZS EV.
Looks like you fixed it now.Apologies I own an MG4 and put in the wrong model when creating my profile. Will work out how to update it!
You should find the LKA a little bit less murder-y if you accidentally leave it on now.Had the service done today - absolutely no difference with the software - its still a pain to use and looks dog ugly!
So there is no LKA update avaliable at all?I've just been in to my local dealer (Lincoln, UK) to see if there's an update yet for the LKA twitch. They checked and said there are no campaigns at the moment. Owners won't automatically be told, we have to keep contacting them periodically to ask. They are reluctant to run any kind of update unless they really have to as it can brick the car and the head unit would then have to be sent away to MG to be reset.
(2023 MG4 SE LR, MPU Ver SWI69-29958-1100R16, MCU Ver 69.3.5.0).
Just out of interest, what am I missing out on if I'm still on R16?
There doesn't appear to be an update for anything so far that they're willing to run.So there is no LKA update avaliable at all?
Euro NCAP was like "yeah we spoke to MG, and they have a update avaliable now"There doesn't appear to be an update for anything so far that they're willing to run.
Just had my in for a service and updated to R46 and I cant change the left hand function button. No matter what I do, it resets back to Energy Recovery. One bug I have heard about with R46 is that the left hand custom button won't stay bound to its setting - is this still true?
Mine doesn't.Just had my in for a service and updated to R46 and I cant change the left hand function button. No matter what I do, it resets back to Energy Recovery.
Mine is saved, but sometime doesn't work at all. Not often tho.Just had my in for a service and updated to R46 and I cant change the left hand function button. No matter what I do, it resets back to Energy Recovery.
as long as you believe that the 'salesperson' isn't telling porkiesJust talked to my rep at the dealership I got my car from 3 weeks ago (they did a checkup call if everything was working fine) and asked about OTA updates. They told me that MG had confirmed that OTA should be coming this year to European models.
I mean they are the official importer of MG's to Finland, who handle the updates, warranty, representation etc. Wouldn't think they would say something they had not heard first hand from MGas long as you believe that the 'salesperson' isn't telling porkies
Great if trueJust talked to my rep at the dealership I got my car from 3 weeks ago (they did a checkup call if everything was working fine) and asked about OTA updates. They told me that MG had confirmed that OTA should be coming this year to European models.
