Unfortunately, in my experience, most people would sacrifice a few miles/kwh or mpg for something that looks good. Check out all those folk that drive 4wd gas guzzlers that will never need 4wd in their driving life! People should care but......
Agree with you Stuart re charging infrastructure.
However, I don't believe all cars will end up teardrop shaped for the lowest possible drag co-efficient. More likely battery technology will (is!) improve(ing) and car shape will become less important.
No reduction. The price you pay is determined by the charger owner (mostly local authorities). No discount dependent on use of app or rfid. CPS just does the admin for the owners.
Had mine for nearly 3 years, still works fine, and I am not aware it needs replacing at any point.
Easy to use and probably required for those areas you are travelling to.
I find that my phone has to be "live" (can't think of a better word!) prior to plugging in. In other words showing the main screen. Not blank or a screensaver.
Only when Android Auto is up and running does the Android Auto button on the car main screen work.
OK, I do live in a rural area. However, it's not at all transparent how this charge is calculated and I wonder if it would differ if I moved supplier?
The old cynic in me suggests it's quite a nice way for the supplier to profiteer.
