Each to their own but I just drive the car as I drove my ice cars, the whole obsession with energy used every month and getting as much range as possible by driving slower than speed limits and not fully heating the cabin isn't for me.
It's my birthday present to you, today's deliberate mistake, couldn't let you birthday weekend pass by without affording you the opportunity to correct someone 😁
Fixed it for you!!
Will it be like the images of the mg4 from Brazil, bit more refined with some extra kit added like the S5/6.
Can they chuck the 77kwh battery in the X Power
(Edited as the Jannie is at work today!!)
The next model now called premium is the old long range rwd which is the same price as it always was £44995
And always had extra features over and above the old standard range
The new standard range as you say is £2k cheaper (no rear screen, rear heated seats) no ambient lighting, cloth seats...
Speaking of baked goods!!
Not sure if your forays into the kingdom have meant you have become acquainted with Fishers & Donaldsons. Probably the makers of the greatest fudge donut in existence (other baked goods are available) there is also the options of soups, stovies hot and cold rolls...
Yeah next model 3 up has all the bells and whistles and the larger battery (over 400 miles range) £45k
I think they removed more from the Y, pan roof etc.
https://www.autoexpress.co.uk/tesla/model-3/367986/new-tesla-model-3-standard-slashes-entry-price-and-running-costs
No ventilated seats, no heated rear seats or screen, no ambient lighting, cloth seats and slowed down a bit, but otherwise pretty much the same.
Not a bad deal for under £38k, 330...
What you are experiencing with customer services is what we got with issues with our 4, I sincerely hope they up their game for you all, especially with where they are pitching the IMs
I suggest you read some of the software threads in the MG 4 forum, MG don't really care how much people complain, they aren't really bothered about repeat customers, they only care about getting cars out the door
To be fair some ice cars have remote heating and as it stands the efficiency hit in winter is far more in an EV so always going to be talked about.
Hopefully this changes with new battery tech
Joint celebration @T1 Terry I have now passed 1000 trophy points, I am looking forward to my elevation to
Distinguished Member (bold for @siteguru ) very me😉
Sort it out @MG Clive 😁
Comes from a Finnish company, Donut Lab, sounds really positive, biggest ones are the lack of impact cold weather has on it and charging times.
https://insideevs.com/news/783380/first-production-ready-all-solid-state-battery-official-specs/
Anyway I've just realised I am on 988 points and you get promotion to distinguished member at 1000 points.
Member of the month is 25 points and second is 15 points 🤔
You replied to me so that is more points, you get point for 👍posts, just bounce about the forum liking random crap, you don't need to agree, you can even like a certain eastern meds posts if you want, that was a step to far for me 😁
@salty he has no shame he just likes them 😉
Stopped reacting in the S5 threads, it's all too serious in there
😉It's like people never read up on MG aftersales prior to their purchase and are expecting the dealers to fix stuff!!
England don't have proper rivalries 😁
it's like Frankie Boyle said when he was talking about the attempted terrorist attack at Glasgow airport.
"The naivety of Al Qaida trying to bring religious war to Glasgow, they don't even have a football team"
We have some cracking beaches, the chariots of fire beach is just along the road from me (St Andrews)
We even have some cracking surfing beaches in Scotland, it's just that when you go in the water your nether regions end up more tucked than one of the lady boys of Bangkok
Not really the case !
Anyone but England at sport (ashes has been braw)
Only because the insufferable, arrogant English sports media have you winning every competition before it's even started.
And yes the government is useless a series of same company different board self serving arseholes...
I'm sure there are some home counties type chaps who may disagree that Scottish speak English😉
And if you didnt want us speaking it you shouldn't have invaded us, took our lands cleared the Highlands and moved your nobility in 😁
There is every chance that you may not be that impressed by an older Tesla, pre 2021 revisions they were made in America and the quality was terrible, that improved when they would the UK spec production to China but even then they had some issues, a lot of which were only cured with the release...
At least they are working and paying taxes (for the most part) unlike our own work shy benefit dodging feckless under class that our half wit government keep rewarding with extra benefits and reasons not to look for work
Feckin is a real word, it is not a disguised sweary word!!
Borrowed from us Scots Celtic cousins, the Irish
Feckin'" is an Irish slang term, a milder substitute for a stronger swear word, used as an intensifier in phrases like "feckin' good" or "feckin' eejit" (fool) for emphasis, but it's also...
I Once met an American who on finding out I was Scottish proceeded to tell me
His great great great great grandad's brother's wife's aunt's next door neighbour's dog walker's relatives come from Edinboro!!
Like the whole of USA who don't seem content on just being American.
They need to be Irish American, Italian American, mexican American....... Despite those roots being multiple generations ago
Forgetting about the facts then, you are a well read, educated individual so I think your opinion is worth listening too on this
Do you believe there is a chance Scotland can gain its independence in the next 10 years
I think there is a yearning amongst you to head back to a more quality vehicle 😉
The revised Born comes out this year also, hence the bargains on current Borns.
I've had zero issues touring in Scotland, and that map backs that up.
However I note this thread is about range anxiety in England so that's not relevant
Zooming out to that size map cuts a fair few chargers of East London etc, if you zoom in closer they come back
Before
After
On the reviews for the Cupra Raval they talked about if that had come first then there would be no need for the Born (due to cabin/luggage space) it's also supposed to be up there amongst the best feeling brakes in an EV
I actually think leases are constantly bumped to the bottom of the pile, especially if a lot of private purchase orders are placed.
It is pretty annoying seeing how many are on auto trader available as in stock (which could be click bait)
Some good deals also
Last paragraph,
please get your finger out and rectify this, as this clear fault is spoiling my otherwise full enjoyment of this car.
Please do not come back to me with there is no fault or this is merely a characteristic as from what I can see on various owners forums is that the only...
No offence taken I agree re other countries and the post was mainly in reply to using what Britain has done in the past and comparing it to China's Indiscretions in its own countries/neighbours.
I mentioned British/English because let's face it before there was a Britain, the English...
I think MG needs to trust their dealers also, the whole fault diagnostic/repair process could be far more efficient if they just trusted their dealers to get on with it.
The do this report back do this, leading by the hand method slows repairs down unnecessarily
I think it's more than as an individual Musk is an easier target.
China is a vast country with a mostly faceless government who are carrying lots of unpleasant acts on the minorities in their own country.
and yes there is no excuse for forgetting what the British/English have inflicted on...
When you think about the 2008 Tesla roadster being able (on paper to do 200 miles) that was outstanding. The first gen leaf in 2010 was only about 80 miles.
Although the Tesla was just a lotus Elise
id like to take this opportunity to thank everyone, I can't name you all but @salty @MG Clive (part of the old naughty step gang)
@Ian Key @siteguru (who keeps the place neat and tidy, not that he is a pedantic so and so in any way😉)
@T1 Terry for being the heir to my throne
@tsedge for...
In case you don't manage to get to the bottom of it, keep a log of everything you have tried and the result.
If you need to return to the dealer hand them the log, it will save time as MG are guaranteed to tell them to check all the things you will have, before the sanction any replacements...
I agree his knowledge and database are outstanding, he obviously rates Tesla's but in no way does he let that impact his reviews of other manufacturers, unlike some of the UK motoring press
I have my speech prepared and I am just waiting on my trophy then I will pass the baton to yourself.
Top tip we need morning noon and night daily weather reports.
Daily beer temp updates
And another top tip is go on UK auto trader and post some random ev sales bargains.
You can also talk...
New video up and down the mountain, he has done this drive with a few cars when he is in Thailand.
He mentions MG capping the consumption at 2.98 watt hour p/km a few times even though it is worse, loves the rear wheel steering on the 6
Gee thanks, come on one banishment power is all I ask, it's a momentous occasion. A new monthly record has been set 😁
This month is all about @T1 Terry
