One small tip that I don't think I have seen it mentioned anywhere. On the A/C menu there is a setting where once activated you can have the A/C operating only for the occupied seats. It may save some electrons for those lonely rides :)

Apologies, I need to clarify on this so I am not giving any wrong information. My comments were for the sound system only regarding it's quality sound wise. I have not tested the DAB/FM system in any way since I am constantly using Spotify. I will test it tomorrow and update accordingly.

Very subjective this. For me per se the sound system is really good. But then again I am not what you would call an afficionado of sound systems quality 😄

Weirdly enough I never see more than a dot. Indeed pilot tends to be less efficient; was noticing the same at my Tesla too. But is so much effortless that is worth it ;)

Right; I just came back from driving the afore mentioned route. I can confirm that I can see a difference between driving manually and pilot on the regen levels. When on pilot I can only see a small dot regardless of how hard or soft the car is braking. When I brake even under robust braking...

If you could check that would be great. I will check again today too. There is a spot on my daily commute where the pilot should gradually bring the car to complete stop. It will give me a good indication.

Agree with all the points made. As for the sound I have noticed that when I use the integrated spotify or radio for the matter the sound quality (after a bit of tweaking at the settings) is brilliant. When I switch to android auto though it is bad. I may have to dig into different settings...

Thanks Don; feel so relieved. Also I need to mention that Miles was in touch trying to help as much as he could and I just had a call from the dealership and the guys were getting ready to book me in asap, organise a loan car etc. Really happy with the support provided by MG Chorley.

I had to go to the main menu of the car and do the full factory reset. Took about 10 minutes. I had to reset everything afterwards. Spotify account, adas settings, navigation favourites, phone, android auto, you name it. Worth it though ;)

So Miles tried with the help of IM to assist me on the matter; no joy. Tried everything so far I just can't bind the app again to the car. Looks like the car software is having the problem since I tried with different phones, android, iphone you name it. I will have to take it back...Hoping...

To be fair besides the tablet holders the rest are a bit useless. A table for the back seats and a box for the boot.

Yes it was set up at the dealership. I will check it again tomorrow morning see if it asks again. You know that screen where you have to accept privacy settings for navigation etc which is supposed to be a 24 months agreement. This is the one that I have to tick all four every time.

Why does it charge so slowly? Mine start at 15 KW and drop to 5 for the last 10%. I can easily get them fully charged during the six hours window. Total capacity is almost 40kw but I never use the last 20%.

I am on intelligent octopus. It's between 23:30 and 5:30. Having 2 EVs though that quite regularly need both charging I have found out that it is quite easy to exploit it. What I do is plugging in the car that needs more charging. This is finished by 5:30. I wake up at that time to walk the dog...

Interestingly I had issues with DAB from day 1 with my Tesla and my wife's BYD is a bit iffy too. To be fair I am not bothered since I love my Spotify podcasts and kids their own music 😁
