My french delarship tells me last week that a new verison (R58) is coming for Luxury, in order to bring the route planner. I get a MG4 MY2022 updated in R46 in september and they will call me if it can be installed on my Luxury...
oh nice, this would be so good! Let’s see if it takes elevation/weather etc into amount. 🤔

Just had my in for a service and updated to R46 and I cant change the left hand function button. No matter what I do, it resets back to Energy Recovery.
MIne was in for a software upgrade on Monday and was told car already had latest version. R24. Either Dealer not up to date or not really checking.

Re SE update R33.
Many improvements and fixes over R13 and R16, but some bugs remain, and a new one has appeared. On reducing the volume by holding the right joystick down then releasing, the volume continued to zero all by itself and wouldn't go back up. Annoying, but a reboot fixed it.
A few days later the opposite happened. On increasing the volume by holding the joystick up then releasing, the volume continued to full all by itself and wouldn't reduce. More than annoying whilst driving, and the only way to shut it up was to press pause on the screen, or by pressing the joystick in. Again, a reboot was required after I found somewhere to pull in.
I do wish they would employ some better programmers, or at least thoroughly test each version before release!

I have recently had a service, which purely involved 2+ hours of various system updates (12 in total). I am no longer able to define the left hand button to anything other than Regen. You can select other options but it immediately reverts to regen. I am able to configure the right button no problem.

It seems that MG have fixed the use of the left shortcut button.

I have noted that the adaptive Cruise control is smoother and LKA is also behaving itself more now. I certainly don't need to turn it off now, as it very rarely intervenes on local roads now.

Interesting ... I always tap to change volume rather than hold, so I haven't encountered this. I'll try to remember to test this.

Interesting as I had a similar problem with the temperature + control getting stuck in a long press condition, although this was using the on screen buttons - it would keep increasing to max whatever I did. There must be some common button handling control that gets stuck.

I tested it (volume) and can concur. There's an alternative workaround to fixing it - see my 1100R33 thread. :)

I suspect this workaround will work for temperature too.

Yeah some people are reporting better LKA after updates, yet noone can pinpoint us to which update we should tell our dealers to install.....
