I hear yah bud. I reckon I clean mine more than I drive it. Today I focused on house work as weather was pants !
I just got back from dropping wife & daughter to work. My weather app says no rain today, sky says different but I’m going to take a chance & give it a clean inside & out.

It’s not bad actually. Only 2 weeks back it was waxed, ceramic coated in places so should be a nice easy wash.

But important things first, cup of tea, then wash the car 👍😁

Definitely a cup of Tea first, pics when you've finished please, love a nice clean car. 😎🙂👍

Might have a bit of a wait for the photos buddy. Even though my weather app still says no rain, it’s actually been light rain for the last 5 minutes so I’m holding off for now.

Another reason I can’t wait to move to our new home next year with driveway, garage. I miss the days of having the car in cover, you could take your time, waxing, hoovering, without having to worry what the weather was doing.

It does if there is Matt non carbon, cheers

Let us know how you get on fitting that.

I could see all twelve pieces scrunched up into one ball and thrown into the passenger footwell.

But that's just me.

Patience and Saint are not in my vocabulary. 🤣

Does this help?

I've just realised that must be yours @KMC
Was it a bugger to get as nice as you have it?

Not mine. Just thought it might be what they were looking for.

Probably is, only in Plain Matt Black, will give them a good idea though, does look good. 👍🙂
Any car window tinter/wrapper will do it for them. Not expensive. Ive had bits wrapped black inside & outside on previous vehicles 🤷‍♂️

100% facts.

But you didn’t mention the extra range you will get!

Few days back I washed & waxed my car

Used a ceramic coating ( for plastics ) front, back & sides, even done the wheel covers

Rain X on windows inside & out

Hoover inside

If this hasn’t added another 50 miles of range to my MG I’ll be taking the cleaning products back to Halfords & demanding a refund 😁
I’ve been “looking” for a ceramic for my interior gloss black plastic! What did you use please?

The ceramic spray I use I only used on the outside plastics, front/back bumper, wheel covers, plastic at bottom of doors,

My brother though uses this one, he says it’s really good on interiors but word of warning. On the bottle it says spray directly onto surface, he advises against this as spray is quite widespread so he sprays directly onto cloth, wipes surface then buffs of with another clean micro fibre cloth + you don’t have to wait long for it to dry, 30 seconds - 1 minute

Thankyou. The exterior plastics on the xpower are painted/gloss black so Ive Supagard paint sealed all mine. Makes them like glass! To be clear it doesn’t go on unpainted plastic (leaves an off white stain), Also Supagard say not suitable for glass ? I disagree & while you’re applying it to a clean/dry car don’t forget your mirror glass & I always do my outside windows including the rear but NEVER the windscreen.

I’ve never used the Supaguard products but seen a few on this forum alone recommend it so I’m going to look into getting myself some.

I “may” have started that. Ive used it for over 20 years now. Unlike “ceramic coating” Supagard has a Lifetime guarantee. I will attach their official shop on ebay who will happily answer any questions. I deal with Megan, Feel free to mention my name (you may get discount)
