Like it! ???After Supagard paint protection I spent yesterday applying Supagard High Gloss Sheen. Amazing results!
Thanks. Luckily on the x power the plastics are painted gloss black, so they all have supagard paint seal on & now high gloss sheen on top. Including window surrounds ect. I dont leave it on as long to cure as the paint, once the plastic section is covered (say rear plastic windows or door glass frame) I buff off with soft microfibre straight away.@KMC, wow, that looks amazing, which supagard products do you use for the paint and the plastic trim, I've never used it before, thanks
That really does look nice buddy especially as it’s hard sometimes to appreciate a wax/sheen coat on a white car ?Thanks. & I haven’t forgot about your recommendation for Supaguard, I’ll definitely be looking into ordering some.
At the moment I use Autoglym Ultra High Definition Wax for the bodywork ( metal parts )
Turtle Wax ceramic spray for the plastics, bumpers, plastics at bottom of car, front rear & sides
Turtle Wax Inside Job for dashboard, screens, doors
& Rain X 100% Rain Repellent for glass
My wife gives me that look often when I pop into Halfords just to pick up a tub of screen wash & come out with new micro fibre towels, buckets ( you can never have enough buckets ) cleaners
Feeling like ive been “run over” today, but glad its done. Just waiting for my Wife to ask about hers now ?.As for Microfibre towels you’ve never got enough! I still look @ maquires drying towels though & think “How much” ? . Our wives much prefer Halfords to a pub lads ?That really does look nice buddy especially as it’s hard sometimes to appreciate a wax/sheen coat on a white car ?

I treated myself to a new Autoglym drying towel last night when in Halfords. I didn’t need to but it’s the first time I’ve seen this particular one on the shelf & the urge was too strong just to walk by & ignore it ?Feeling like ive been “run over” today, but glad its done. Won't go far wrong with Autoglym stuff. ??I treated myself to a new Autoglym drying towel last night when in Halfords. I didn’t need to but it’s the first time I’ve seen this particular one on the shelf & the urge was too strong just to walk by & ignore it ?
I’m actually going to clean my daughter’s car today. It’s a 23 plate but it looks like it’s be taken dirt racing. She sometimes takes it to a group of guys that have a car hand wash, to be fair they do a good job but why pay them £20-30 when you know your dad will do it for free ?
But it’s getting the full treatment, solar blast, snow foam etc but I will NOT use my new Autoglym towel on it, that will be saved for when my car gets its weekly wash ?
Just like Brut (remember that?) just splash it all over. ??I'm going to try the polar snow blast and the shampoo at the weekend.
With the pre wash polar blast, is there any need to avoid tyre walls as with similar products, or is it a case of splash it all over, wait and rinse??
For wax, shampoos, snow foams/polar blast I stick to Autoglym productsWon't go far wrong with Autoglym stuff. ??
Glad someone else is old enough to remember!!!????Just like Brut (remember that?) just splash it all over. ??
Wasn't it Henry Cooper and Barry Sheene?Glad someone else is old enough to remember!!!????

If I remember correctly£20-£30 for a hand car wash? Round here it's about £6-£7. Even the really expensive one I sometimes use where they dry the car for you as well is only £12. Is she having the inside done at the same time?
