UPDATE: went for the Ohme Home Pro in the end, synced with IOG first time, I like the little info screen on the charger unit too ! IOG charging schedules not as slick as the Wallbox but I’m glad to have a working charger after 7 weeks of dead Wallbox and their dreadful customer service.

We were told that you could discharge the MG4 battery to power your home, has anyone successfully tried this ?
We have a Wallbox Pulsar MAX charger and Octopus GO tariff so using 9.5p/kwh power to power the house is quite attractive.

Hi, What charger do you have ? I have a Wallbox Pulsar MAX but not supported by Octopus (even though this is the model they promote for installs). Oddly they only seem to support older Wallbox models, some even retired ones.

UPDATE: Re my original post at start of thread, i noticed that even though auto-switching between day/night modes appeared to reenable LKA, in fact it doesn't ! Although the LKA slidebar on the MG Pilot screen says it is enabled the dashboard icon remains amber, thus it still is disabled, i did...
Always switch off LKA before departing but noticed that each time the auto day/night feature dims the dashboard it also resets the LKA to on, every time ! I think the auto day/night is too sensitive (goes to night down a slightly shady lane), can this feature be disabled ?
That's a good question ! i didn't ask. I would assume covering it up (apart from affecting the wiper blades) would disable the LKA and other safety features, when it snowed recently some of the systems warned me they were disabled, i imagine the detection system was blocked.
Our 2 week old MG4 Trophy has been with the dealers for the last 3 days having the LKA, Phone Pairing issue and dropping rear window issue investigated. They had to continually refer to MG to fault-find, they upgraded various "software modules" which now gives us R33, yay !
