Common sense at last from NCAP ?

Just seen this article today. Hopefully it is the start of common sense returning to new cars !! I don't think the MG4 is too bad on the whole compared to some of the new models coming out (Volvo, etc.. ) Lets hope those buttons include easy disabling of LKA etc, if wanted...

Is there room for a Smart Meter here ??

I'm trying to get a smart meter installed and have read a few cases of people being turned down due to lack of space in the meter box. Looking at the size of a Smart Meter I'm wondering if I may have a problem or if anything needs re-arranging in my meter box to create space What do you think...

XPower Rear Discs - Outer edges slightly scored anyone ?

I've noticed both my rear discs have minor scores on them towards the outer edge. You can feel them with your finger nail. Has anyone else noticed this ? ... is it a dealer visit required😒 In comparison the front discs look fine and feel smooth.

    MG4 Xpower Reviews

Another like from PlanetAuto ... seems to like and agree on the same things as me and a fair review IMHO. Not the easiest of watches for me though ... seems to chop and change the editing a lot !!

XPower 488 mile Round Trip using Public Charging

We went to visit my daughter and son-in-law over the weekend who live in Maidenbower near Crawley which is around 244 miles away. The don't have an EV or home charger so pubic charging was the order of the day ! Knowing such a trip would be happening around twice a year I had researched the...

Xpower liked by Derek Reilly 😉

Another new review on Youtube. He also thinks its definitley a hot hatch !! I reckon he's been on here and had a look at the comments as a lot of them are talked about including the vibration at 70mph !! Seems a pretty fair review to me. A few quotes :- "........Cupra Born not a patch on...

XPOWER owners - please give your opinion on an Xpower Sub Forum

There’s quite a few XPower owners on here now and given the difference in our cars with AWD 435bhp stiffer suspension 18" alloy wheels upgraded brakes torque vectoring etc etc there appears to be quite a lot we want to discuss that aren’t applicable to other MG4s. As such I have requested a...

POLL : MG4 Xpower Steering Vibration

Does your MG4 Xpower suffer from Steering vibration when cruising at around 66-70mph and if an official fix was available would you want it ? Thought this might be useful to gauge numbers and the percentage experiencing the issue. It might then be useful ammo to show the dealers / MG UK. I...

A new minor software glitch at low temperatures !!

I did a long 100 mile journey up the A1 last night with outdoor temperatures around 5 degrees centigrade. I must have had about 20 chimes with. “Possible Icy Roads” warnings at the top of the driver console during the drive. Surely one would have been enough 🙂. I can only imagine it was...

Collection and First Drive of my Camden Grey Xpower

I picked up my new Xpower form Cars2 MG Wakefield this morning. Everything seemed in order and I had quite a checklist of thing to look at after reading all the threads on this forum. The bonnet insulation was in place, the undertray bulges were minimal (a few mm at most), no sign of oil...

    Collection Checklist

Is their a current “New car collection checklist” thread for the MG4? There seems quite a lot specific to the MG4 that needs to be checked and seen fully working when collecting a new car - e.g. esim/green SOS light, infotainment screen, temp showing on screen, front camera working, underside...
