Free official ZS EV mats and led bulbs

WAY better! There aren't many bulbs in the market that are better than the Koyoso 20,000 lumen bulbs. They're really heavy - build quality is superb and they have inline drivers making the bulbs more reliable, stable and smaller. I've never been flashed by oncoming drivers and they produce no...

Free official ZS EV mats and led bulbs

I should have added that I can't post stuff or remove the bulbs myself as I'm physically disabled, it would strictly need to be collection 🙂

Does anybody want the following bits from my ZS: Koyoso 20,000 lumen headlight bulbs (the best LED bulbs you can get for the ZS) Official ZS EV fitted mats LED indicator bulbs front and back (fronts are Twenty20 bulbs, the brightest on the market) Also have super bright LED reversing lights...

    AEB and Front Collision Assist

Only an AEB system that uses LIDAR (VW group cars such as the Citigo - I tested my Mom's Citigo AEB with a big TV box and it worked)) can "see" object's like this. As you say radar just penetrates anything that's not solid and it has to be reflective enough for the radar to pick up. Most systems...

    AEB and Front Collision Assist

The AEB is meant to intervene at the absolute last moment to make sure that drivers don't rely on the system. Most people will panic and hit the brakes before the AEB deems it needs to intervene. It works with or without MG Pilot and the sensitivity is the same. The only thing you can adjust is...

    Brakes failed

Why didn't you just disengage the cruise control with the buttons/controls? I know that doesn't fix the mats being stuck, but it would have slowed you down with engine braking. When they had "unintended" acceleration cases in America, it seems nobody thought to switch their ignitions off, use...

    Brakes failed

It's surprising just how much of a smash modern cars can take before they feel the need to deploy the air bags for the safety of the occupants.

    Brakes failed

Yep. Slowing down from about 25MPH in the snow using only regen and the wheels locked from the force of the regen. Only happened in level 3 regen though. Now I drive it in level 1 in the snow.

    Brakes failed

I found this out in the snow - zero ABS activation when slowing down with regen led to the wheels locking and the car skidding. I only ever use regen 1 now in snow/icy conditions.

    Brakes failed

I have on a couple of occasions "brake boosted" my ZS off the line (timing the 0-60 sprint on a country road) I can confirm that the cars brain doesn't cut any power to the motor if the foot brake is also engaged. With both pedals pushed to the floor the car strains against the brakes and the...

Can't order the Exclusive but Facelift incoming

The grille front end should be harmonised with the ICE Facelift according to reports, you can see in that pic the grille is the same shape as the ICE ZS.

Can't order the Exclusive but Facelift incoming

I'd go for the Exclusive. The amount of kit is worth the upgrade in price. I doubt the battery in the face lift will increase much in size (if at all) the increased range might just be down to new software, new tyres and aerodynamics etc.

    Brakes failed

According to the manual it should be able to detect stationary objects from 2MPH. But it also says that buildings can affect the performance of it, so it may not have stopped because it didn't detect an obstacle such as a car or pedestrian. Which is stupid. The manual says it uses the camera and...

    Brakes failed

Had you been using the cruise control before this? Mine sometimes lurches forward towards the stationary car in front when I activate MG Pilot in traffic. It's as if the radar hasn't had time to activate. I end up having to stab the brake to stop the car hitting the one in front.

Knocking noise from the sunroof area!

The reason I like having the roof tilted is because if you turn the HVAC off the difference in air pressure pulls fresh air through the air vents in whatever position they were last used in (so long as it's not on recirculate) It means you can save battery from not using the HVAC but still have...

Knocking noise from the sunroof area!

My sunroof creak has been attempted to be fixed on three separate occasions and has spent 10 weeks off the road during those attempts. The last attempt was 6 weeks after which I was told it had been tested by 5 different managers and technicians and it was definitely fixed. Yet within 10...

    steering click.

This is exactly how mine is, you notice it mainly when cornering. MG said there's nothing wrong with it, despite movement and small clunk evidently there.

    Window rain wind deflectors

I had the same issue with a car I fitted deflectors to, also on this car it blocked a big chunk of the passenger door mirror.

Parking brake not releasing quick enough

When using MG Pilot in traffic and I'm on an incline, usually the car rolls back a foot or two when the ACC stops the car. It's very disconcerting and I always end up hastily using the brake.
