Really don’t know why people only charge to 80%. It’s silly. The whole thing about protecting your battery is nonsense. It has a battery management system to protect the battery. I’ve done 92k in mine and it charges to 100% every night on my 7 kW charger. State of health is 99%.
Don’t worry about this 20%-80% nonsense. Just charge the car and use it as you wish. It has battery management computers that take care of it. It’s been designed to be used this way. You can happily leave it fully charged without worry.
Battery’s on trains/aircraft are constantly being charged...

The car has a auto handbrake and hill start assist.
I’ve not touched my handbrake switch or the auto button in a whole year of ownership. Just set it and carry on.
This is all totally normal and happens on ICE cars. The handbrake only brakes the rear wheels and the movement you feel is the weight of the car moving back onto the rear axle.
As EVs are very heavy you notice it more.
When you activate the cruise control the car is displayed on the main screen. It’s a white MG5
