Like @Tim Green said, Gen1 had a sound all the time when using MG Pilot and used to happen only when car is coming to complete standstill. In one of the podcasts it was discussed as normal and ABS related. @IanSS , can you attach sound recording?

Yes, battery degradation is expected in the first couple of years. I do not think you can claim it under warranty . You should ask your dealership to provide you battery state of health report with every service just to keep an eye on degradation.

If it is of any consolation, there are a number of threads on steering issues with ZS. A number of them had them replaced under warranty. I hope you do not run into any more problems with your car.

I have ZS EV MK1 where there are no controls in car to schedule charging. The car is always ready to accept charge. Is this not possible with MK2?

May I know if there is a good reason to choose MG app over the charger app for scheduling. We have a podpoint charger at home and never experienced issues with schedules set in podpoint app.
