LKA has nothing to do with R46 or any other infotainment update.
MG and dealers aren't sharing information on what these updates are. But there are updates to the IPMA camera system and whatever ECU hosts the LKA feature.
If I was asked to prove my issues I'd have shown the list of 20-30 "MG" Bluetooth devices in my connection list from that week.

Tesla are selling software packs & SaaS so have a very different business model. They would need to provide continuous updates to those products and their general software to support that.
Very little is covered for the full 7 years in the warranty.
The software updates that they will provide likely be limited to bug fixes.
Majority of these updates probably fall under:
INFOTAINMENT, CONVENIENCE SYSTEMS & DRIVER AIDS.
Which has 36 months cover.
It's pretty standard to have radar and camera fused.
Most ACC systems use obstacle and lane information.
It will lower speed when approaching tight bends.
These systems also use lane assignment when predicting the relevant vehicle to follow.
