80% charging

MG4 extended range, 1000 miles in.
Hi, I’m new to EV’s and MGs come to that. I’m looking for a couple of tips if I may?
Home charging. The scheduled charging on the app defaults to 80% max charge. I slide it along to 100% but it often seems to default back! Is it me? Also on these dark evenings, is there any way to turn down the brightness on the speedo screen apart from covering it with my woolly hat?! It almost obscures the view it’s so bright!

80% is default on LR / ER, 100% on SR

Your 100% may default back to 80% if you have linked iSmart and it is set to 80%.

When you change it in the app you have to wait for the 'Success' banner to appear (takes about 10sec's) otherwise the change might not happen. You can also change it in the 'charging' section in the car.
