A-Pillar Rear Wash Pipe Fix

Just used these instructions to fix mine in 5-10mins. Thanks OP.

Pipe froze a couple of weeks ago. I heard the skoosher spraying inside the car and stopped using immediately. I guess what happens is that it freezes at the rear exit and the pressure builds when you try and spray and pops the join. In hindsight I should have taped up the join with electrical tape while I had access to stop it popping again.

Tried doing mine the other day and failed at step 1, couldn't even get the trim off. So I contacted my local dealer who said they can't be sure it'll be done under warranty nevertheless it's booked in. They thought minimum £72 if I have to pay.

That rather focussed the mind and I have now released the trim at the top for most of its length but it there's a rubber "strap" holding it in place near the top. It might be un-doable but my fat fingers make access a bit difficult.

I'm reluctant to try too hard in case I fail and damage it, then they say it's been tampered with so not warranty but has anyone come across this?

Hope it's clear in this pic.

Actually now I look again I don't see a water pipe. There is a bundle of wire and I suppose it could be running down the middle of them?
