That's because those cars have the physical hardware installed (and related software) to support wireless AA ... the MG4 doesn't.

I don't think you need any special HW to support wireless AA. It's all done in software anyway.

I do wonder if you sideloaded Zlink (or any other app, that emulates AA/CP support) if that actually worked.

Wired android auto uses the cable and bluetooth, wireless uses Wi-fi direct and bluetooth.
