Best short phone cable for fitting through to charging mat?

Hi there,

Just bought 4 different cables to test with fitting through the console to the charging mat area to plug in my phone. I have a Pixel 9 Pro XL which is quite big, and none of the cables work well. They all result in my phone sitting on the side which looks a bit awkward and I don't want to scratch the shiny piano black plastic.

Anyone find one that is incredibly short at the end or fits particularly well? Was thinking a 90 degree angle but then phone will be tilted up. Almost need one with a much shorter head but don't think that's possible.

Makes me wish it has wireless Android Auto built into it!

Is it now, did think about this. Have managed to get a 50cm cable working but wonder if when unplugging the flicking of the cable will annoy me now. I also noticed after taking the slip mat off that the wireless charging doesn't seem to work now? Without the cable plugged in or plugged in.

Had a 30cm one I tried but it was too short and meant the phone leant on side, 50cm is the one that I coiled back on itself

I use a right angled cable for charging my phone. Rather than trying to use a really short cable, I pull a bit more cable through to allow the cable to loop upwards and allow the phone to lay flat.

If you have an SE like me and want wireless Android Auto, then the option I went for was a Carlinkit CPC200 TBox Plus Android AI box. It connects to the car via left hand USB, and I have mine stuck with velcro to the underside of centre console. Your phone connects to it to provide wirless Android Auto.
