Cyberster Software Versions

Anybody else in the world having R34 ready? I asked our dealer and in Switzerland it is not available yet…
I have R34 since picking up from dealer.

In this mechanics menu you can check a number of subjects.
It is not the intention that you change things yourself.
You can also follow the updates here.
I would only have the dealer do the updates via a laptop, I would ignore the other two methods such as via OTA and USB stick.
The code for this screen is !Mg12345.
Where can you find this meny?

A quick update - took our GT into WLMG Ruislip (really nice guys and super helpful) to try and do an update from r31 to r34 after an hour trying to do it via usb they could not get it done. A case has been raised with MG.

A bit as expected unfortunately. It seems that updates are not a priority at MG.
Unfortunately, the manager who arranges everything for me is hospitalized. As soon as he is present again, we will continue here. A ticket has also been created here at MG Europe. So, patience.

When I took the Cyberster GT with R28 software I believe it took more than 3 attempts using a laptop for the update to be accepted. I understand that on at least one of the attempts the low battery voltage (as mentioned earlier in this thread) may have been a problem. Their solution to that was to attach an external battery charger to the vehicle. In my case it took them about 3 hours to successfully update the software.

I can’t see many dealers happy with a 3 hour software update and blocking a technician.

It would be more cost effective for MG to send a guy out and do each car or enable Over the air.
