Cyberster Software Versions

When I get a chance I will run another 7.1 speaker test from YouTube and then describe what is produced by the subwoofer. It might take me a couple of days. I cannot however compare with the R28 software as I didn’t test the speaker system before it was updated to R34.

I have run several YouTube 7.1 system and speaker tests. I ran 5 different ones, two of the 5 made no sound from the sub woofer. The others made sound when saying they were testing the sub woofer.

So overall, on software R34 it is inconclusive as to the activity of the sub woofer.

Placing a hand on the sub woofer grille when the LFE channel was being tested and sound was heard, did suggest the sub woofer was vibrating.

I have just tried a Dolby 5.1 test video (there are lots on Youtube) std left and right and center work. Rear Left and Right just come out of the main left right, for me sub woofer did nothing. Anyone else tried a 5.1 or 7.1 atmos test ?

I appreciate the car may not be "Atmos" but if you include in the spec "8 speaker bose® audio system" it should be 8 speakers that are separated and not a stereo pair duplicated.

I got similar results when I tested with R31 so I suspect there has been no speaker update

Thanks so much, all! Indeed the current set-up leaves something to be desired, although I have noticed Tidal up from Spotify in Android Auto already present a major improvement of sound quality.

I've had the same experience. Music via Bluetooth and radio doesn't sound good. Music via Android Auto via cable sounds much better.

That is because Bluetooth and any wireless adapters don’t support lossless audio formats. If you want the best audio quality use wired CarPlay or android auto

I haven't found anything about it, but I wanted to tell you something.
Since I bought the car, I've always used it with the "one pedal" and I always thought the car had a fairly progressive acceleration, until the other day I took off the "one pedal" and accelerated... Holy crap! Now it really accelerates! It's incredibly different, it feels like a different car... I'm delighted with how it accelerates now. The question is, what position do I have it in? 1-2-3 or A?

By the way, is there any software updates?

Becouse you use "one pedal drive", try not use this and try the diference, more acceleration
I like one pedal drive, been using it for years on our EV6. I will try it for myself, but I doubt that use of it reduces the acceleration. It certainly doesn't on the EV6, where the current applied power can be displayed on the dash. In any case, surely super-sport mode would override any setting that reduced acceleration?

In Cyberster, the "one pedal mode” reduces the initial acceleration in all modes, try it and see for yourself, why would I lie?

Supersport Mode removes the regen and reduces some aids. The manual states its best to use that on a circuit or track.
From personal experience, I only use Super Sport when I want to pull away fast, normally to show the acceleration to my unsuspecting passenger. The rest of the time I use Comfort or Sport. In comfort even if you put the foot to the floor it does not accelerate the same way as sport, I am not sure if that is the same in one pedal.

I wasn't accusing you of lying, but naturally I have to bear in mind that you could be mistaken. I already said that I'd be trying it for myself, although it's since been confirmed that SuperSport mode disables regen.

I’m not sure that SuperSport disables the one pedal mode. When I drove on the track, SuperSport and one pedal mode where the only way to have a good feeling when braking hard.

I do agree with you. "One pedal" does indeed slower down the acceleration. I have a Trophy and it sure makes a difference. Don't know about the GT.

My Cyberster is dual motor. Thailand. (we don't get the single motor variant, hence no reference to GT or Trophy). Sport Mode and SuperSport Mode are functionally the SAME. For practical purposes no discernible difference. In SuperSport Mode (IF on a racetrack) certain driver aids can be disabled. (my understanding of the operator manual) Not sure how it determines if it's on a race track. (GPS?) SuperSport Mode has no other enhancements or dynamic changes. No throttle map change, no additional power, no steering change, no suspension change, etc. Regen remains (in my car). Accessing Sport mode with the right paddle OR pushing the red SuperSport button yields exactly the SAME result. Somehow this is a bit disappointing. That ominous "red" button should provide something more,,,,
