Digital Launch 13th September

Then it probably doesn't have load capacity on the roof
I don't get this. The weight is distributed over the side pillars anyway. If it can't take a load of 20kg, or 40kg, what happens when the car rolls over during a collision and those pillars have to support a weight of over 1700kg? Does it flatten itself into a pancake?!

It's more likely just that the car is already close to its homologated weight with four passengers, and any extra would be too much. VW removed the rear middle seat on some big battery ID.3 for similar reasons.

But the vertical load is quoted at 50kg, presumably for a bike carrier on the tow ball. That would take it over the homologated weight with four passengers if it's that close to the limit I would have thought?
