Do you have a T box warranty issue

My ZS EV has had a warranty claim due to a failed T Box (no activation, no SOS call, failed sat nav & weather report) for now nearly 6 months it has sat at EMG for 9 going on 10 weeks in a 6th visit to fix it.

I intend going to the Motor Ombudsman on Tuesday. If you have had a T box issue under warranty on your ZS EV can you tell me how long it took to fix? My aim is to show that this is a common fault.

Or maybe it isn't. MG UK insist they will fix it but not when. I need a car for a foreign holiday in the summer. EMG can't let me take the courtesy car so that is now looking in doubt.

I must say I now feel very down from this BS. What should have been a bigger car to carry our first grandson & parents around is now a millstone.
 
John, this is so so unfortunate. I don't know anyone that's had any problems at all with their ZS EV let alone a 'T Box' problem, and I do know a few folks with them. I'd have a word with MG about a car for your holiday. If it's warranty and the car is fairly new they usually step up with a car or some financial support. Good luck.
 
I already have. They don't seem to care. Thanks for the feedback it helps with the Ombudsman.
