Don't charge from a 3 pin plug when it's 27 degrees outside kids

Maybe I should just replace it with one of these purpose built cables instead. I've got the money and you can't exactly put a price on safety.

The mains end socket (no charging, still pristine white) is in a garage with it's own consumer unit so I doubt it'd burn the house down if I just re-plugged the old cable but, all the stuffs in the garage might go up in flames.

I have a tough leads extension lead with inline RCD protection. Works great.

Before I had our Ohme Home Pro installed, we used the Granny charger. I plugged it into the outside socket, which I had installed decades earlier using 1.5 cable via a 16A breaker, with an MK Masterseal socket on the end of it. The circuit was protected by an RCD.

While not ideal, it ran fine for 3 months. I did check the socket afterwards and it was fine.

Used my Granny Charger for the 9 months I've had my X Power. Including yesterday's
30 degrees. No problems. 🙂👍
