ECU Module version spreadsheet

I'm wondering if those BMS numbers are build dates, if you take the American date format into effect. (Not sure about the year, but the dates kind of stack up)
EG
1230621A01 (30th December)
0210622EU1 (10th Feb)
0603610R28 (3rd June)
Etc.
F Me, how did I not spot that.
Well done mate.

Date Developed - Description - Version number
25/11/ 2019 (600 R15) - Original BMS is version - 1125600R15
06/01/ 2020 (600 R17) - 12/2019 BMS is version - 0106600R17
03/06/ 2020 (610 R28) - 7/2020 BMS is version - 0603610R28
16/10/ 2020 (620 R40) - Guessing 24/10/2020 BMS is version - 1016620R40 - Need someone with this to check it.
30/12/ 2020 (621 A01) - 15/1/2021 BMS is version - 1230621A01
10/02/ 2021 (622 EU1) - mid 2/2021 BMS is version 0210622EU1 !!!!!!!!!!!WTF!!!!!!!!!

@Alan5

Rather surprisingly, you have a new HVAC version that haven't seen before, bit strange as it is very similar to the others (REL_DC_BEV_C036) except yours is A instead of C (REL_DC_BEV_A036).
@JodyS21 I'm also wondering if Alan as the A rather than C could be due to the fact he has an Excite not Exclusive model?

Yes I was going to mention that 👍 as the excite has a different HVAC head unit compared to the exclusive .
Well done guys. (y)

Rather than ask everyone what their model is...
IF you have an EXCITE and have given me your version data, please let me know. Thanks.

No because that’s what’s on mine and I don’t have either...
Phew, I was beginning to think it was only me and @WAC 768 who had the EU1 and we both used the same dealer. Comforting in a way to know someone else got it from elsewhere (assuming you didn't make a special trip to Yorkshire to have yours done :) ).
Would love to know the difference but probably never will.

Mine was updated on 12 Feb at chorley group Burnley, I have the eu1

Just adding it to the spreadsheet now :)

Interesting your SoC is 93.5% at a voltage of only 442.25.
(As mine is 93.2% at full charge with 449Volts)

Can you confirm, this is with the car after a 100% (AC) charge and, very importantly - with no load i.e. the car is started without the brake pedal depressed (so HV battery is off) as this affects the voltage.

Thanks :)

Yes it was fully charged and equalised with everything off

I can't explain the low voltage. Anyone???

On the Streaming data - Battery screen, it shows the Current as 7.1Amps, which would suggest it's pulling some load?
Your Min and Max cell voltages are not that close either - 4.166 / 3.995 (0.171 diff)???

I will try again in the morning maybe different results after being plugged in all night,

I'm thinking it's just needing a decent balance.

4.166V*108cells would give 449.93V. Could be it's reaching its cut off point, and hasn't started balancing properly yet. There may be enough low cells to drag the overall voltage down, but enough full cells to trigger the end of charging.

If it was definitely 100% on the dash and equalisation had finished and 442V.

Then I'm guessing you had the dodgy BMS and need to do several cycles of equalisation to get to 449V

Yep that's my thoughts too

I'm going to ask loads of questions!! These are what we record on the spreadsheet. It'll prob help explain what's going on a bit :)

When was your car registered?
Last update was 12/2/2021
Have you got Comfort 2 update installed?
Can you AC charge unlocked?
Can you do a times charge?
Have you got the fancy Mode/Kers graphics
Have you had the battery heater option for some reason (unlikely)
Car model = Excusive

If your car was collected or updated between 24th October and before January this year it probably would have had the buggy bms which explains your low voltage which will recover after several battery cycles.

The car was new end of Nov 20, all updates done by dealer Inc comfort 2, I can ac charge and unlock charge, I don't have means to do a charge time only granny.
No fancy graphics and I didn't get the battery heater.
Car is an exclusive.
Car was possibly on buggy software I was asked to update by dealer.

Great stats. How old is your car and what sort of charging history does it have?

New reg in Sept 2020, I've used a rapid charger once since I've bought it and that was just to try it out, haha. Charged at home on the weekend after the work week 😊
