Oooh, this sounds like a good challenge, although needs to be over a decent amount of miles not less than 10 ;).

I'll give it a go tomorrow over 50 miles or so and see what i can get

I'd agree it's relatively easy on a warm day on a short trip. The first two examples show these at 9.9 mls and 18mls.
The key is to achieve 5.0 mls/kWh over a long distance. The closest I got was on a day trip in early October last year where the average was 4.7 mls/kWh over a distance of 186 mls.

Less than 8 miles? I could do that any time. I live at 800 feet and by the time I get to Edinburgh the numbers always look ridiculously good. Different story on the way home though.
Wow doesn’t matter where I go just now it’s 3.3 all the way 🥴

Coming home the other night I made it just over 11kWh/100km. There is a drop of elevation, so the outgoing trip was higher.

Edit moderator: I believe that's around 5.6 mi/kWh, which would be impressive without the drop in elevation.

Nice!
HVAC on or off?
HVAC off but lights on (was 10pm)

That 4.7 is pretty damned impressive !👌

They are good figures.

I tend to get around 3.3 for my trips. I used to care when I first got the car nearly 3 years ago, but with home charging the difference in real world cost between even 2 and 4 mls/kWh is minor.

For those of us lucky enough to be able to charge at home, of course.

Yes correct. 7.8 miles is not really a representative distance.

I can't be bothered, tbh. I haven't reset for 18 months or more, and the reading was 3.2 for many months. After a long journey (Berkshire to Pembroke) doing 70 for most of the motorway miles, this went up to 3.3... huh? And that's where it's stayed. I'm happy with that average figure.
