I've had my MG5 SR since February. I accept that I've not tried driving it in dreadful weather in the winter across the Pennines, but generally I've been very pleased by the range it gives me. On shortish journeys, it's generally about two miles a percent - to the extent that I check the mileage of the journey on Google Maps, divide it by two, subtract that from the current battery percentage - and I am almost always spot on at the end.
But recently, the car really impressed me. I had to drive from Hemel Hempstead to Burgess Hill and back - that's about 160 miles. I was starting at 100%, so I was reasonably optimistic that I'd get there and back with about 20% left. It was a bit stop/start (it's the M25, after all!) but a reasonably smooth journey. When I returned, I'd actually got 30% left on the battery. That's a theoretical range of 230 miles!
I'm just using Normal mode and KERS on 2. I'm very happy indeed.
