iSmart just updated to 3.0 on Android. Not really seeing much new but you do get new front and rear window demist buttons and some of the menu items are moved.

Just updated mine. The update isn't available through the app at the moment so I used the Play store.

Just tried the screen demister and it seemed to connect quicker although I can't confirm that the car actually responded as it's back at the dealers again. Mind you it might have made someone at the dealers a start

Just updated mine through the play store. When first opened there was the text 'window opened' alongside a small circle just below the update time. Good I thought a way of checking the window state. However it has now disappeared; must be for one of the other MG types.

Swap to the standard theme instead of 100 one and it looks much better now.

They've squeezed in a lot more information on the home screen, and there's a new error message if trying to connect after a while.

I had the same! Made me think my windows were down. I think they might mean app opened?

So there is ... but the 100 years theme is easier on the eyes.

In the white theme mine is permanently showing Window opened just below the date/time at the top right, even though all windows are closed.

This latest update has killed the App was running in the background popup that always appeared when you closed the app.

on the secondary account screen, click the + at the top right and you can add a second persons app to your car i.e partner or friend

I've done a test and the Window open indication in the White theme never changes, regardless of whether or not a window is actually open. If you unlock the car and open a door then that area will cycle between Car unlocked, Door open and Window open, all in the same font with a blue dot next to it. (The test was to see if the text font changed style or dot changed colour, but no dice).

So I can only assume that the Window open indication is a bug.

Same here. Mine says window open. I think I'll just go back to the 100 years theme.

Any help appreciated.
I updated the app this morning on IOS. It logged me out and now doesn’t recognize my email or password.
Does not send password reset notification via email or phone.
Deleted and redownloaded with no joy.
Also tried registering again but recognizes my account is already registered.
Any suggestions?

I updated my app (IOS) this morning too, it logged me out but I managed to recover by using my phone number and selecting UK from the drop down box and knocking off the 0 on my phone number. I then clicked resend password, reset password by authentication code sent by text.
Then I found the app didn’t work so deleted it and reinstalled it and put in the new password and it worked. But I had to open my ZS hybrid + and start the engine to waken it from a deep sleep (I drove it less than 24hrs previous) and now everything on the app works fine.

Mine shows Window open below the time/date.

With my Trophy, I see the window opened message in white skin just below the time when I first open the app. It disappears when the updating circles stop, whether or not the data fields are populated. I suspect there may be a timeout for the app that resets this field which as @siteguru posted above shows other states.

Mine shows Window open below the time/date.

Maybe that's how mine was then, I didn't notice the time and date when the window message was showing, so now that it's gone, the time/date appears to be in there in place of it.

I've been playing about with app locking and unlocking and lost the button action colour plot.

If the car is locked, should the lock button be blue or should the unlock button be blue?

Note that the keyless start button starts off grey until Bluetooth connects and then it turns to blue. So I assume that blue means that key is active though the unlock button works when grey or blue.
