It is now over six weeks since my windscreen was broken and a replacement ordered.

No one in the so called Customer Service department has a clue, or care as to when the replacement will arrive. Their standard response has been it will be late June but June is over and still no idea when it will arrive.

Facebook is covered with adverts for MG new releases. Perhaps they should spend more time and money on improving their supply chain of replacement parts and keep their existing customers happy!

Anyone else have problems getting parts? Maybe we need to get together and get one of the Watchdog types to take up our problems.

Are you being looked after whilst waiting, eg free loan car?
No. Local dealer not interested and no one in central MG is responding to my requests for help. Very poor. Insurers have so far only agreed to pay for replacement windscreen but I will revisit them.

I have posted many negative comments on Facebook but, surprisingly, no one from MG has noticed or contacted me. Odd as apart from this very significant problem, we really like the car.

A broken windscreen isn't a warranty matter the car insurer should sort it via Autoglass or another glass supplier, most manufacturers don't stick glass it not an MG issue.

I made a newer post than that but OP not responded about Insurer providing a free hire car if OP has cover.
