.....Summary: Car just out warranty (110kmiles), kept going into limp mode, Reason: Water ingress of HV battery due to battery lid sealant degredation.

....cracking result, one to watchout for going forward, as i expect this to the main reason for issues.

... at this current time its going to be '000's, but if this turns out to be a common problem, then I'm sure it could get down to less than £1000 - almost zero if you have the tools know how. (I say this from bitter experience, in that one of my 1st cars was an XR2 - with a sunroof, and more recently I have a tiguan sport - again with a sunroof - so have spent many a winter with a hair dryer / electric heater trying to dry them out - finding the leak ? )
