I hope the UK model looks better than the photos from china because I couldnt buy a car that looks so bland. In addition it looks like they are going to cheapen the suspension and other build areas so the fact that the current MG 4 handles so well will be lost.

The best option would have been to face lift the current 4 and improve the interior
 
Yes some fresh colours would help a lot. Peugeot & fiat have brought our some really good colours in the last year as as we all know there are people out there that will buy a car purely based on colour even if the car is only average mechanically. - plus the profit margin on a metallic, pearl or tricolour is about 60%

That is why there will be two UK models: the new cheap one and an updated premium car.

We don't know if they will change the bland looks for the cheap version over here.

The plan, as I understand it, is to keep the exterior the same as the current UK/EU MG4 and facelift the interior.
