I dismissed the idea of a Hive EV charger based on the Hive devices I have around the house: Heating - excellent; thermostatic radiator valves - not fit for purpose and returned; lights - ok but constantly go off line; door sensor - not fit for purpose and returned; Motion sensor - ok but too many false alerts. For me Hive is too unreliable and customer service is awful so I would not trust Hive to reliably charge my car.
