Quite like the up swept spoiler on the hatch, wonder if it'll keep the spray off.

How strange. We are in a similar position. I sold our two cars last week and we live out in the sticks. Existing on bikes and just not going anywhere.I am one of the unlucky ones whose Trophy expected next week, turned out to be a SE now waiting for a phone call from dealer to see if there is any chance of a Trophy turning up!! was also told that the next batch are expected next month? desperate now as I sold our only car 3 weeks ago so we can buy the MG4 outright, gutted
22nd of this month?Fiscal event(budget) is supposed to be the 22nd, I'm in the first batch, only paid £100 deposit. So if they do cut vat, hopefully it'll help us all.
And mine is the blue one 11th iback roThere's about 60 in that photo. I'm sure that mine's fifth or sixth from the right....
Its an sr that's fine for usIs yours SE SR like mine or SE LR - it's hard to tell from the back ...

Dealer called last minute yesterday to say delivery to them is planned on the 26th and they will have it turned around for pickup on the 28th.
I wanted the lr in blue. But am getting the trophy in white.
It does seem a bit of a c*ck-up doesn’t it? I am now preparing a contingency, just in case we are also hit by the SE / Trophy confusion. Not that you can confuse them… with that double split spoiler on the back. Any idiot should be able to tell the difference from the outside at a glanceWe were told yesterday that our ordered White Trophy will actually be a White SE LR, apparently MG UK have about 20 Trophy models incorrect in the southern region that are actually SE models. It is particularly galling that someone is getting exactly what we want and they wanted an SE LR anyway. I too have sold our main car, but will now have to wait weeks or months to get the car we were promised!! [£500 deposit paid and VIN Number supplied] Incidentally the VIN number we have that was supposed to be a Trophy is the same number for the SE LR.
But dealers won't have seen the cars and can only go by what's on their manifest ... if THAT is wrong, then .........It does seem a bit of a c*ck-up doesn’t it? you would think that if there is a problem, before the cars are transported from Portbury and the errors are fixable by anyone operating a simple spreadsheet of errors, including a pool of unallocated cars, you have to question whether anyone is taking the initiative in MG UK to do that and mitigate as many as possible. But dealers won't have seen the cars and can only go by what's on their manifest ... if THAT is wrong, then .........
Supposedly next Thursday or Friday according to Reuters22nd of this month?
Hi Miles,Yesterday, I got the first chance to see (and sit in) the new MG4 (and facelifted MG5).

First impressions were "wow!"

The quality of the finish was very impressive. This was in Trophy specification, in the new Camden Grey paint colour, with a 64kWh battery. Interior space has been maximised by using a long wheelbase (the MG4 wheelbase is only 15mm shorter than the MG HS). This gives shorter overhangs, with more passenger space compared to traditionally proportioned cars.
The boot was a good size, with a two level floor. No figures were given regarding litre capacity, but it appeared bigger than say Kia Niro Electric.

The rear passenger space is good for 2 adults and a child, with excellent headroom and legroom. Flat floor through the back. No rear courtesy lights though (!).

LED headlights front and rear. No Frunk.

The dashboard design is well laid out, with a quality fit and finish throughout. Clearly this is a car which has been benchmarked against the iD3, but I'd objectively say that this feels more premium.

Under the floating drive-mode selector, there is a storage console with 2 cupholders, a roller-shutter covered large drawer, and a couple of USB sockets.
Behind the drive mode selector is a wireless phone charger (with a removable cover, where you can pass USB cables through if required).
There is no start-stop button on the MG4. To start it, you simply get into the car with the key, and put your foot on the brake.
I have been told by an MG UK engineer that the CCS charging speed on the 51kWh variant is around 90-100kW, and on the 64kWh version it is 120-130kW peak.
